Molly Rooke is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and arts-focused digital strategist with a deep commitment to creative communities. Trained at Cardiff School of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art, she established herself as a contemporary artist and printmaker before expanding into education and digital communications for the arts sector.
As an experienced arts educator, Molly has taught across a range of settings, fostering engagement with printmaking and contemporary creative practices. She currently serves as the Programming and Marketing Manager at Double Elephant Print Workshop, where she curates their studio programming and leads strategic marketing initiatives.
Beyond her role at Double Elephant, Molly works extensively as a freelance website designer and marketing consultant, specialising in crafting impactful digital identities for arts organisations and creative enterprises. Her portfolio includes work for Rame Projects, InExeter, Positive Light Projects, Bowden Springs Farm, Exeter Heritage Cinema Project, and Bake Me Crazy, among others.
Molly is also the founder of Darn Good Studio, a clothing repair initiative that views mending as both a radical and community-driven act. Through workshops and advocacy, she challenges fast fashion and consumer waste, promoting repair as a form of sustainability, resistance, and storytelling. By bringing people together through shared skills and collective action, her work with Darn Good Studio fosters a culture of care—for our clothes, our communities, and the environment.
Molly’s practice is defined by a passion for accessible, community-driven creativity, bridging the gap between traditional artistic disciplines, digital engagement, and sustainable craft.
